The three-day celebration of athleticism featured an array of competitive events, catering to both senior and sub-junior students. Senior categories included classic track events such as the 100m and 200m dashes, alongside thrilling team races like the 4x100m relay. Students also engaged in football, penalty shootouts, tug of war, arm wrestling, and strategic games such as chess and carrom. For the more athletic, high jump and long jump competitions were highlights that drew much excitement.
On the lighter side, sub-junior events included fun activities like musical chairs, balloon bursting, face-the-cookie, and sweet biting, ensuring that all age groups were embraced in the spirit of friendly competition. These games not only entertained but also brought smiles and laughter to the eager participants.
Red House emerged as the overall champions of the sports meet, securing the top spot with impressive performances across various events. Blue House followed closely as runners-up, while Yellow and Green Houses finished in third and fourth places, respectively. In addition to the overall championship, the GHS Bayavü Football Trophy was claimed by Yellow House, with Blue House finishing as the runners-up. This added another layer of thrill to the rivalry between the houses, showcasing not just skill but also teamwork and sportsmanship.
Post-competition, certificates, medals, and gift hampers were awarded to all winners, celebrating their hard work and achievements. This recognition not only honors the victors but also serves as inspiration for other students to aim high in future events.
